Joshua said at the end of his life; "But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord" Joshua 24:15. Joshua made sure that all the victories the Children of Israel ever fought, was because of God winning the battles for them. When you fought against the many nations and had victory it was because "I fought for you", "I sent terror ahead of you", "I gave you land you had not walked on", "towns you did not build", "olive groves you did not plant". "So serve the Lord wholeheartedly". Serve the Lord alone".

He goes on and on imploring them not to go back to the idols of their ancestors and personally sets the example, "but as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord".

That is the "Theme" for our upcoming "Mens Camp" being conducted over the weekend 23 - 25 July, "As for me and My Family, we will serve the Lord".

We are all part of a family, whether single, married or children. What is our example to other family members? How precious are living family members to us? Are we lovers of others outside our family more than those in our family? Joshua made it personal, "As for me"! Therefore commitment for winning our families to Jesus begins personally with "You & Me"!
