    1. Ezekiel 36:25-28 - I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.

    2. Acts 1:4 - On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.  For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit”.

    3. Work of the Holy Spirit

    • John 14:15 – Counsellor, Spirit of Truth, will be in you, revelation from God.
    • John 16:8 – Convict the world of guilt, guide in truth.
    • Acts 1:4-8 – Baptised, receive power to witness.
    • Mark 16:17 - Authority over demonic, speak in new tongues, snakes & poison, healing.
    • 1 Cor. 12:7 – Wisdom, knowledge, Faith, Healing, miraculous powers, prophesy, distinguishing spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues.

    4. Luke 11:9-11 - Ask, Seek, Knock. It will be given! “…how much more will your Father in heaven give you the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
