Financial Report
“Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law” Romans 13:8
How easily the world traps us by our indebtedness whether financially or because of the precariousness of our jobs or just by the expectations that it places upon us to appear successful etc. May our goal this year be to break free of the web that the world weaves around us fiscally and rest in the arms of our faithful Jehovah Jireh.
Your faithful financial support of Vision Ministries leaves us here at Mamre with hearts full of praise for the Lord and what he continues to do in your lives. You dear friends are an integral part of all this ministry does in the name of Jesus the Christ, throughout this nation and beyond.
The ministry this year continues to need your support and we pray that the Lord continues to knit your hearts to ours as we go on with all that the Lord has placed in our hearts. One of the things that I need to bring to your attention is the plan to build another building next to the Go Forth Faith Arena to house the children’s and youth ministries. The numbers have expanded to such a point where these vital ministries need their own dedicated space. So with this in mind we have had plans drawn up for the “Mamre Learning Centre” and have received approval from the Australian Tax Office to open a school building fund account with Deductible Gift Recipient status. Which in plain English means, that the gifts given into this fund are tax deductible, but can only be used for the building and maintenance of the “Mamre Learning Centre”. So please join with us as we set out on this new endeavour which will certainly add much to what we can do at Mamre for the kingdom. If you desire to give into this fund, please make cheques payable to “Vision Ministries – Mamre Learning Centre” and a DGR receipt will be issued to you.
Along with this there is still the day to day work of ministry and we are careful to remember that the Church which we have been called to expand is not brick and mortar but souls. Transformed lives will always be the primary focus of this ministry and “Mobilising believers for Jesus” is always at the forefront of all we set our hands to do. So please pray for us and continue to support the ministry, as we remain faithful to the call upon our lives. As in previous years I would like to challenge all of you who receive this newsletter to contribute an annual gift of at least $30 to help cover the cost of the newsletter and now the website, from which sermons and articles and news of the ministry can all be accessed.
